Roper Hat & Co., LLC — Terms & Conditions

By booking a service, making a purchase, or participating in any event with Roper Hat & Co., LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Service Overview

Roper Hat & Co., LLC provides custom hat shaping, cleaning, restoration, branding, and specialty event services. All services are rendered with care and attention to detail. Due to the nature of custom work, each result is unique and may vary.

2. Branding Services

Branding is a permanent customization that creates a lasting mark on your hat. The service provider will consult with you on your design and placement prior to the branding process. While every effort is made to ensure precision, branding may shift or result in unintended marks. In such cases, Roper Hat & Co., LLC will attempt to correct the issue to the best of our ability. However, we are not liable for damages resulting from the branding process.

3. Hat Cleaning & Reshaping

We offer cleaning and reshaping services for existing hats. Please note that some hats may be too worn or structurally compromised to reshape effectively. If a hat is deemed unserviceable, we will communicate this prior to proceeding. We also accept hats for memorial preservation, but cannot guarantee full restoration of heavily worn or damaged items.

4. Custom Work & Fit

Custom shaping is tailored to the customer's preferences and fit. We strive for excellence and will communicate with you throughout the shaping process. However, due to the handmade nature of this work, all sales and services are final.

5. Event Services & Hat Parties

Roper Hat & Co., LLC offers in-store hat parties (up to 10 guests) and off-site event services by request. Event bookings require advance scheduling and may be subject to a deposit or travel fee. Specific details will be agreed upon in the booking contract for each event.

6. Payments & Refunds

All services and products must be paid for in full at the time of purchase or upon booking. Deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable. Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final.

7. Liability

Roper Hat & Co., LLC is not responsible for damage to hats caused by pre-existing conditions, material defects, or general wear and tear. We also are not liable for personal items left unattended at our studio or event booths.

8. Media Consent

By participating in our services or events, you grant Roper Hat & Co., LLC permission to use photos or videos taken during your appointment or event for marketing and social media purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in advance.

9. Safe Working Environment

Client agrees to provide a safe and secure working environment for the Service Provider, including but not limited to protection from extreme weather, hazardous materials, unsafe event setups, or any conditions that may place Roper Hat & Co., LLC, its tools, inventory, or personnel at risk. If the environment is deemed unsafe at the sole discretion of Roper Hat & Co., LLC, services may be paused or discontinued without penalty or liability to the Service Provider.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rankin County, Mississippi, and the state of Mississippi. Any disputes or claims arising from or related to these Terms & Conditions will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Rankin County, Mississippi.
