Event FAQs
How long does it take to make a hat?
Timeframes vary depending on the style and customizations you choose, but on average, hats are completed in about 15–20 minutes in our shop. Pre shaped hats take no more than 20 minutes. But an open crown takes more time because it is a blank hat, essentially takes about 45 minutes.
At events we keep everything efficient, the process is to get sized for your hat, gather what you want on your hat, pay for your products - you can then stick around and watch us create your hat, or you can come back later and pick your finished hat up.
Do you handle event setup and breakdown?
Absolutely! Our team brings along everything we need — displays, steamers, tables, and racks — to set up nearly anywhere. Setup usually takes about an hour, with breakdown completed in roughly 60 minutes.
Do you offer shipping? How can guests safely travel with their hats?
Yes, we ship custom hats nationwide! You can also book a virtual hat appointment through our site to order from afar.
Do you travel out of state for events?
We sure do! and are happy to travel to bring your hat bar dreams to life.
Travel fees begin at $1,500 and can vary depending on your location.
How does pricing work for events?
We offer two event package options:
- $200 per person: includes a wool felt hat, shaped and fitted, with feather and hat branding
- $250 per person: includes a wool hat, shaped and fitted, plus a specialty hat band, feather, decorative pin or playing cards, and hat branding
Pricing may be adjusted based on your event’s unique needs.
Do you offer discounts for large events?
Yes — we provide price breaks for events ordering 50, 75, or 100+ hats. Please fill out our event form for a custom quote.
What is the cost to have you as a pop-up vendor?
Our vendor pop-up fee is $600. We’re happy to discuss alternate arrangements for non-profit or fundraising events.
What is your minimum group size for events?
We require at least 20 guests for an on-site event booking. If your group is smaller, a small-group fee may apply.
