I’m Samantha Roper, born and raised in Central Mississippi, where I grew up deeply rooted in the western lifestyle I still live today. From an early age, I had a passion for creating something of my own—work that felt meaningful and personal. That passion eventually led me to the art of hat making.

What began as a simple interest in shaping western hats quickly grew into something much more: a love for the craftsmanship, detail, and artistry that go into creating a truly custom hat. For me, it’s not just about shaping felt—it’s about making sure each hat fits perfectly, giving its owner both comfort and confidence. There’s nothing better than seeing someone put on their custom hat for the first time and watching that first smile spread across their face. That moment is why I do what I do.
